Our Story
The event rental business is, for me, a family tradition. The story of EZ Tent Rentals began as an idea in the mind of a 12-year-old kid setting up tents in backyards for his father's party rental company. Over the years this led to thousands of setups and a growing appreciation for bringing events to life. Two decades later, that dream evolved into a business and, more importantly, a passion.
Serving in the Marine Corps as a sergeant to then earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Advertising from Pepperdine University gave me the faith, discipline, and knowledge I needed to run a strong, dependable, integrity-driven business. In 2020, I took the leap and started EZ TENT RENTALS LLC — in the midst of the COVID pandemic — in order to help provide tents for schools looking for temporary outdoor eating and learning structures. I next began providing restaurants with long-term tent rentals so they could offer outdoor dining. Now I supply a wide variety of tents for an even wider variety of events, from weddings to graduations to birthdays to corporate functions.
While EZ Tents has expanded, its core values have not changed. To better understand our mission, you need to understand the double meaning of our name. On the one hand, "EZ" signifies the initials of my name — Eddy Z. But the MUCH, MUCH more important meaning is that we make tent rentals "easy" . . . how creative, right? All jokes aside, our name signifies the importance of customer service and our goal of reducing the stress of hosting an event. Hence, our tagline: "Renting made simple. It's in our name."
Our #1 mission here at EZ Tent Rentals is to make our customers' lives a little easier. After almost two decades in the event industry, we've found that if you can make event planning a little simpler for a customer, then you've succeeded at your job. We accomplish this by eliminating stress from the party equipment rental and set up process.
At EZ Tents we are truly passionate about our work because of the enjoyment we get from collaborating with customers and turning their event ideas into reality. The expressions of gratitude people display the first time they see a completed installation is priceless and makes our efforts worth it.
